WOMADelaide 2012 first lineup announcement

The first WOMADelaide lineup announcement for 2012 has been released with performers from India, Spain, Sweden, Mali, Jamaica, South Africa and France set to make the trek to Adelaide in March.

After the success of the WOMADelaide sister event, WOMAD Earth Station at the Belair National Park last month the WOMAD crew have turned their attention back to the main event, already snagging some pretty reputable names for their first line-up announcement.

Highlights include Blue King Brown, Swedish duo First Aid Kit and Tinariwen – the Malian desert rockers who collaborated with members of TV on the Radio and Wilco’s Nels Cline on their new album Tassili.
