They’ve played enormous festival shows and topped the charts, but Violent Soho finally got to tick off a huge bucketlist item last night: getting introduced by Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin on the NRL Footy Show.
“Are you ready to rock and roll?” Vautin asked the audience, before the band absolutely ripped through ‘Blanket’ from their ARIA Chart-topping album WACO.
Violent Soho recently announced a second massive Australian tour for the year with more ripper supports. They’re also on the bill for the 2017 UNIFY Gathering festival and released a heartfelt mini doco, as well as the video for ‘Blanket’, featuring a raucous warehouse set and some heavy ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ vibes.
The clip was directed by Matt Weston, who you might know from Nation Blue and High Tension.
