WAM Song of the year winner
Congratulations to local singer/songwriter Georgi Kay who took out the WAM Song of the Year award for her song Breakfast in Bedlam. Kay also won the award for the school age (15-17) category. She’ll go home with $5000 in cash, a publishing deal with Pitch Perfect, plus recording, mastering and a run of 500 cds.
Kay is the first school aged entrant to ever win the Song of the Year grand prize.
