Violent Soho have been on more than a couple of victory laps after the release of their latest LP WACO, absolutely tearing it up with national and international headline tours, and a defining moment at this year’s Splendour In The Grass, even finding the time to smash out an NRL Footy Show musical appearance. It’s thirsty work, and now they’re raising a toast with their own specially brewed beer.
It’s pretty safe to say this drop will be too good to waste on a shoey, with the band teaming up with Stone & Wood – naming their never-before-brewed brew The East Coast Crusher, most likely after the band’s ability to crush it on the East Coast.
According to the statement from Stone & Wood, the beer is “Aussie unfiltered Kolsch that’s been dry hopped with Ella and Victoria’s Secret which hits your tastebuds with a floral punch up front then balances out with a refreshing bitterness.”
The beer will be launched with free events on Thursday October 13 across the country, taking place at Bank Street Social (Adelaide), Crowbar (Brisbane), Flyrite (Perth), Lord Gladstone (Sydney), and Yellow Bird (Melbourne). There’ll also be ticket and merch giveaways. Obviously it’s 18-plus only.
Violent Soho have also just released a new single from WACO in ‘No Shade’.
