This disturbing metal cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ is going viral
Although he looks like a Vegas street magician or one of those terrible pick-up artist dudes, Anthony Vincent is actually the genius behind those viral 10 Second Songs that constantly appear in your Facebook feed. His version of Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’ performed in a bunch of different singing styles ranging from Kurt Cobain to Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Run-D.M.C. and Metallica has been watched over 17 million times.
Anyway, now Vincent has turned his attention to a song that’s widely believed to be about Katy Perry: Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’. But this time rather than jumping across a range of different styles Vincent has stuck to the very specific sound of Chicago metal crew Disturbed. Check out the cover – which has been endorsed by the band – below.
Returning from a four year hiatus, Disturbed secretly wrote and recorded their new album Immortalised over the last year, and have been rumoured to be part of the lineup for Soundwave 2016. “Part of the difficulty of keeping something like this secret like we did is that you can’t really start planning for it until it’s no longer a secret. So we were all able to start rolling on the plans only about a month and a half ago,” frontman David Draiman recently told FL. But he promises that the band will soon return to our shores – “Not only likely, you can count on seeing us. One way or another. Whether we’re there on a festival or headlining, there’s no doubt that we’re going to get out there. It’s one of our most vibrant markets and one of our strongest fanbases.”
