The Darkness announce Australian tour dates
Due to an overwhelming response The Darkness have added a second show in Melbourne and an Adelaide show to their tour.
Brush off your finest cat-suit, warm up your vocal chords and get your hands off my woman because The Darkness are coming to town! Following on from yesterday’s not-so-cryptic Facebook post Justin, Ed, Dan and Frankie have announced dates for their first Australian tour in over six years – and it’s happening in only two months time.
Since reforming early last year following months of speculation, the glam rock revivalists have been busy strutting their spandexed selves all over Europe and recording the follow up to 2005’s One Way Ticket To Hell…And Back.
FasterLouder was front and centre at the band’s Download comeback set in June where all four original members proved they still have what it takes, and then some: “A surprisingly fit looking Hawkins pranced around the stage in leggings, sporting a new moustache and only slightly less hair. The band opened their show with lesser known B-side _Bareback _and then launched into a string of hits including Black Shuck, Growing On Me, Love Is Only A Feeling and One Way Ticket.”
