The Dandy Warhols will return in October for their fourteenth Australian tour playing seven shows in support of their new album Distortland.

Since their first trip from Portland to Australia back in 1998, Courtney Taylor-Taylor, Peter Holmström, Zia McCabe and Brent DeBoer have returned almost every year making appearances at Livid, Big Day Out, Falls, Parklife, and Harvest. Their most recent Australian dates were in July last year when they made their debut on the lineup for Splendour in the Grass.

Since that tour in 2015 the band has released their ninth album, Distortland, which features the singles ‘STYGGO’, ‘Catcher in the Rye’ and ‘You Are Killing Me’. The album was first recorded in Taylor-Taylor basement on an ’80s cassette recorder with the band putting on the finishing touches in a studio before Jim Lowe – best known for his work with Taylor Swift and Beyonce – stepped in to mix the record.
