Slipknot and Machine Head tour

The masked men of metal have us in our sights. In late October, Slipknot touch down in Australia for a string of dates alongside extra-special guests Machine Head. Both bands are renowned for brutal live shows, and with this being an stadium-sized tour you can expect gargantuan production standards.

Slipknot’s fourth album, All Hope Is Gone, arrives in August on Roadrunner Records, and it’s expected to be as uncompromising as ever. Machine Head, in turn, are also still making head-caving music, typified by last year’s The Blackening. On their own they’re dangerous – as a double-header it’ll be all-out carnage. Don’t expect tickets to hang around long.
