Sarah Blasko orchestral tour in February

Sarah Blasko will be joined by a series of orchestras as she tours in February with her new album I Awake, which was recorded with the 52-piece Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra.

Although she has recently toured as part of the Seeker Lover Keeper supergroup and on the Finn Brothers tribute tour ‘They Will Have Their Way’, these orchestral shows in Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth early next year will be the first headline shows for Blasko since 2010.

In the lead up to the album Blasko has released a short film featuring four songs from the record – ‘Here’,

‘I Awake’, ‘An Oyster, A Pearl’, and ‘Fool’. Fans in Sydney can also see the film screening at a pop-up installation space on the corner of Palmer and Oxford Street, Darlinghurst from Thursday, October 18 until Friday, October 26. Blasko will also be performing all of the songs from the new album at the space – keep an eye on her Facebook and Twitter for performance times.

I Awake will be released on Friday, October 26.
