Nominees Announced For The MTV Australia Video Music Awards

The very first MTV Australia Video Music Awards are set to be held in Australia – and hosted by none other than Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne – early next year. On March 3, 2005, industry insiders and fans will have their sights set on Sydney’s Luna Park, where the cream of the crop of local and overseas music videos will be honoured.

There’s thirteen categories (including the Pepsi Viewers’ Choice Award, chosen by MTV viewers, and the VH1 Music First Award, which recognises music legends), and the nominations for each were compiled by a panel of music industry leaders – journalists, musos, company bigwigs – from MTV Australia’s playlist.
