New single and tour for The Vasco Era

One year on from the release of their album Lucille, The Vasco Era are back with the new single Child Bearing Hips which sees the band getting back to its messier, garage roots.

Lead singer Sid O’Neil has described the new track as being about ”…wanting to be involved with things that you know are wrong, even if you don’t like what they stand for. Especially when people assume that you are unintelligent because you are not part of it. It usually stems from being at a party in the wrong clothes and people making assumptions about your worth based on this. It frustrates me that I need these people to accept me even though I am directly opposed to this idea.”

The tune is our first taste of the band’s third album, which they will release independently in October of this year. And you can catch The Vasco Era swinging their Child Bearing Hips (and maybe a few other new tunes) when they hit the road this August.
