Kiss, Motley Crue add second Melbourne show

Kiss and Motley Crue have added a second Melbourne show to their upcoming tour in March.

Following a “phenomenal response” to pre-sales for the first show at Etihad Stadium on March 5, McManus Entertainment has immediately added a second concert on March 6. That means another opportunity to purchase the Kiss and Motley Crue meet-and-greet packages which are strictly limited to 40 and 50 tickets, respectively.

In addition to the two Melbourne dates, both acts will perform in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Mackay and Adelaide for the Clipsal 500 on March 3. They’ll be joined by a new incarnation of Thin Lizzy (featuring founding member Brian Downey) and new Brisbane outfit Diva Demolition.

Since July this year Kiss and Motley Crue have toured together playing over 40 dates across the US, Canada and Mexico on a tour they humbly dubbed “The Tour”. With both bands playing 90-minute sets, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons promises that the shows will make “you will scream your head off until it’s no longer on your shoulder and then you’ll feel great. You’ll be drenched, exhausted, and completely satisfied without ever having anyone touch your schmekel”.

Remaining tickets to the first Melbourne show, plus first release and meet-and-greet tickets to the second show will be on sale tomorrow (November 22), 9am.
