Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age answers your questions

Last week we asked you to submit questions for Josh Homme, and after digging through the list we sat down with the Queens of the Stone Age frontman at his Sydney hotel to film his answers.

You wanted to know about everything from his favourite ice cream flavour, to his plans for another “Desert Sessions” album, his thoughts on the recent Grammys debacle and his current reading list. Some of you just wanted Homme to come and hold you as you drift off to sleep. In the Q&A below you’ll also discover why he loves the “raw and rugged” Tasmania, which member of his band is most like a penguin, and why he loves stories about mountaineering tragedies.

Queens Of The Stone Age are currently in the country for a joint tour with Nine Inch Nails, which continues in Perth tomorrow night. The tour will wind up with an intimate headline show in Hobart (sans NIN). It’s Queens’ first visit to Tasmania since 2008 when they played at the City Hall in Hobart. Check out the opening night setlists here.
