Here’s your chance to see Paul Dempsey and Alex Lahey jam on a tram

Melbourne Music Week is fast approaching, bringing with it a stacked lineup of local and international talent. All up, it’s going to take over the city for nine days – from the flagship venue of the State Library, to the MCG, to laneways and squares all over the city.

Tram Sessions has announced the return of Tram Jam, which sees a bunch of talent hop aboard Melbourne’s favourite form of transport to perform sets. This year will see, with Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey perform, along with rising star Alex Lahey. This year, Tram Sessions has linked up with Qantas as the official airline sponsor, keeping the homegrown talent within the local transport family.

It’s all happening Tuesday, November 15 at 7pm. For more info and tickets, head here.

Melbourne Music Week has truly outdone itself this year, having lined up acts like Zola Jesus, The Drones, MIND Gamers, Seekae, Shihad, and a heap more appearing over the week. It will also see the return of the Face The Music conference, which will see speakers such as Robert Forster and Needle Drop journo Anthony Fantano, Zan Rowe, and Tkay Maidza. Wrap your eyes around the that lineup here.
