Here’s how Australia reacted to Violent Soho’s ripper ARIAs performance

It was a big night for some at the 2016 ARIA Awards, especially for Brissie’s Violent Soho. The band picked up well-deserved ARIAs for Best Rock Album and Best Group (the latter of which found them caught short, scrambling from sinking piss at the bar to the podium).
Not only that, but the boys from Mansfield ripped out a performance of WACO cut ‘Like Soda’, which beamed out to tellies across the country. Plenty loved it, but it seemed like there were a few caught aback by the band’s exposure to mainstream Australia.
