Henry Rollins Australian tour
The last time that punk-icon turned author/actor/producer/talker Henry Rollins was down under he was celebrating his 50th birthday by “evincing some imperfect pearls of ancient wisdom” on his fans. The tour was a whirlwind one, which saw Hank performing only four bite-size gigs in Melbourne and Sydney.
Those who missed out on listening to the Black Flag pioneer talk about everything from “chance encounters with Johnny Cash and Joe Strummer to almost vomiting on American right-wing shock jock Rush Limbaugh at a party with William Shatner”, will be pleased to know that he is returning to our shores in 2012.
As the man himself let slip last month, Hank will hit Australia in April as part of his ‘Long March’ tour, in which he discusses everything from touring with Dinosaur Jr to his thoughts on absolutely anything that is happening in the world right this moment.
