Farnsy, Violent Soho, heaps more legends, to perform at this year’s ARIAs

Brissy’s Violent Soho and certified Aus legend John Farnham are leading the pack of artists that are locked in to perform at this year’s ARIA Awards.

It’s a fairly even mix of veterans and newbies, with Hall Of Fame inductees Crowded House, Jimmy Barnes, Flume, Missy Higgins, Vera Blue, Troye Sivan, and Illy. A couple of international guests are also heading our way, such as ‘Say It’ vocalist Tove Lo and Robbie Williams. Check out the full list below.

The nominations were announced last month, and this year it’s Flume all the way, with Sydney producer picking up a very tidy 11 nominations.

Perth’s Troye Sivan is also in for a big year, with seven nominations to his name including Best Male Artist and Album Of The Year, following his critically acclaimed album Blue Neighbourhood. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have five nominations, including for Best Group and Hard Rock album; RUFUS also has five nominations with their album Bloom.

The Avalanches continue their huge 2016 by picking up six nominations, matched by superstar Sia, who also picked up six.

The ARIA Awards take place Wednesday November 23.
