Disturbed make up for Soundwave’s cancellation with a 2016 Australian tour

Australian fans of alt-metal giants Disturbed were left hanging late last year with the collapse of the Soundwave juggernaut, with the band slated to headline the 2016 edition of the touring festival. Now Disturbed have made good with an announcement of a headline arena tour of Australia, kicking off this November.

Re–emerging from a self–imposed hiatus that begun in 2011, Disturbed released their latest LP Immortalized midway through last year. They’ve even managed to gain some mainstream commercial radio crossover with their version of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Sound of Silence’, which may not have the same malleable nuance as the original.
