Come Together bulks up

Taking over Luna Park for a whole weekend, the Come Together festival is a must for lovers of all things rock. Now the hot ticket has got even hotter with the addition of a new stage. On Saturday, it’ll be hosted by Sydney indie institution The Filth, while Sunday sees your friends at FasterLouder taking the reins.

Let’s talk about our shindig first. Leading the FasterLouder stage on day two is the most excellent Melbourne outfit Witch Hats, whose new-ish album Cellulite Soul is well worth your time. The punk fix continues with The Straight Arrows, Circle Pit and Ash Phoenix. When the FL editorial team stage-dives – please catch us. Oh, and we’re giving one worthy Sydney band a chance to play on the FasterLouder stage. Watch this space for competition details.

The Filth is ensuring their do on Saturday is equally essential, with Modular’s made men Ghostwood headlining alongside Yves Klein Blue, Flamingo Crash, Fait Accompli, Sherlocks Daughter, Sound Casino and DJ Calamity Jane.

With these late entries, the tally of bands appearing across the weekend goes up to 50. You’d be crazy to miss it. Come Together happens on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June (long weekend).
