Best New Years Eve parties in Perth

Wondering where to holler in the new year? We’ve had a look at what Perth has to offer in the way of new year’s revelry, and put together a list of the best.

Head to Amplifier or the Rosemount for a stack of home-grown talent, or to Salt on the Beach to get your funk on. Origin returns to Belvoir this year with a purely DnB and Dubstep lineup ‘to fuck off the hangers on and the posers’ and the Civic Den is having a 12 band 2 stage party for psycho goth /rock /punk-a-billys if that’s what takes your fancy.

Flying Lotus will be blissin’ at the Artrage Bakery for NYE and NYD but we have it on good authority that the New Year’s Day gig is going to be the killer, so save some party for that one.

Of course, for those who want to make it a 4 day bender, there’s Southbound, from January 1-4, and it’s always a winner with the punters. This year, their zero-tolerance for alcohol smuggling policy will mean less chance of your tent being covered in vomit when you get back from the party. VIP tickets are all gone, but there are still some camping tickets left if you get moving.
