Bands not playing Splendour In The Grass 2012

While festivals like Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic in Japan have helped us make some educated bets about which bands are looking likely for Splendour In The Grass 2012, there is a handful of European and US Festivals happening over the last weekend of July that mean we can now also rule out potential visitors.

Among the most notable bands who won’t be entertaining the masses at Byron this year are Iron and Wine, Alabama Shakes and Of Monsters And Men who have been confirmed to play the New Port Folk Festival; Matisyahu, Ozomatli and Gary Clark Jr who will be busy at Floyd Fest in the US; Iggy and The Stooges, The Roots, Gogol Bordello and Noah And The Whale who are scheduled to play Green Fest; and The Black Keys who are heading up New York’s Randalls island festival.

To make this nice and simple and to help you spot a fake when those lineup posters start popping up all over the internet this month, here is handy list of the definites, maybes and no chances for Splendour In The Grass 2012.
