Alice Cooper releases Ke$ha duet
Alice Cooper has released a snippet of What Baby Wants, a track from Welcome 2 My Nightmare the upcoming sequel to his classic 1975 solo debut Welcome to My Nightmare. Oh, and the track features Ke$ha trading lines with the 63 year old rock legend.
Cooper admits that “a lot of my audience is going to go Kesha!?” but he fends off any detractors telling Ultimate Classic Rock “she’s gonna end up being a rock singer, not a disco singer. She wants to be, you know, she wants to be Robert Plant, and she’s a big tall American girl and she could really do it.”
It’s not the first time the pair have collaborated, Alice Cooper joined Ke$ha on stage for a version of School’s Out in Oslo earlier this year. And it might not be the last time we hear an unexpected Ke$ha collaboration this year, with The Flaming Lips Wayne Coyne telling FL last week that he’s also keen to work with the pop star.
