The Big Ass Tour kicks off next week with The Amity Affliction and A Day To Remember co-headlining a huge arena show in Sydney but there has been a late change to the lineup after Californian metalcore crew The Ghost Inside were forced to cancel their trip to Australia.
The band was involved in a bus accident in Texas late last month forcing them into hiatus. “It is going to be a long road for us to quite literally be back on our feet,” the band explained in a recent Facebook post. “We have many months of recovery, rehabilitation, and physical therapy ahead. For some of us, simply learning to walk again will be a monumental undertaking. For now, we must put all shows on hold and focus only on our health.”
So Hands Like Houses have stepped up as a last minute addition replacing The Ghost Inside on the tour. The Canberra crew will play the opening set at all dates warming the stage for Amity, A Day To Remember, and Pennsylvanian metal band Motionless In White.
